Uno Driving School – Terms & Conditions
At Uno Driving School, customer satisfaction is our top priority. We aim to provide high-quality,
transparent, and reliable driving lessons through experienced and DVSA-approved driving instructors.
By booking lessons with Uno Driving School, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Definitions
- “You/Customer/Pupil” means the individual booking and taking driving lessons.
- “We/Us/Our” means Uno Driving School and its allocated driving instructors.
- “Instructor” means a DVSA-approved driving instructor (ADI) working with Uno Driving School.
2. Booking & Payments
- All bookings are subject to instructor availability.
- Lessons must be paid for in advance or as agreed at the time of booking.
- Receipts will be provided for all payments.
- Any unused credit must be used in line with the Block Lesson Policy (see section 6).
3. Cancellation Policy
- Customers must provide a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a lesson.
- Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged in full.
- If the instructor cancels, the lesson will be rescheduled at no extra cost.
- Any disputes, dues, or complaints must be submitted within 30 days of the incident.
- Complaints submitted after 30 days will not be considered, and the company will not be liable.
4. Advance Booking Policy
- Customers may book lessons up to 1 month in advance.
- Bookings beyond 1 month are not permitted through the system.
- Lesson times and dates must be mutually agreed between the customer and instructor.
5. Discount Policy
- Discounts are time-limited and subject to availability.
- Each customer may redeem a discount only once (one-time use).
- Discounts cannot be combined with other offers or promotions.
6. Block Lesson Policy
- Block lessons (packages of multiple lessons) must be completed within 90 days of booking.
- Any unused lessons after 90 days will be forfeited with no refund.
- Block lessons are non-transferable to other pupils.
7. Driving Lessons & Responsibilities
- You must hold a valid UK provisional driving licence and present it at your first lesson.
- It is your responsibility to attend lessons on time. Late arrivals may result in reduced lesson time.
- Lessons cannot be transferred or sold to third parties.
- Instructors may refuse to proceed with a lesson if they believe you are unfit to drive (e.g., due to alcohol, drugs, or health reasons).
8. Complaints Procedure
- Any complaints should first be raised directly with Uno Driving School via email at [insert email].
- Complaints must include details of the issue, relevant dates, and supporting evidence.
- We aim to acknowledge complaints within 3 working days and provide a formal response within 10 working days.
9. Limitation of Liability
- Uno Driving School and its instructors cannot guarantee that you will pass your theory or practical driving test.
- We are not responsible for DVSA test cancellations due to examiner illness, strikes, or adverse weather conditions.
- We will not be liable for any indirect or business-related losses, including loss of income or opportunity.
- You may be liable for any damage caused to the instructor’s vehicle due to your negligence.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
